About Justin Hoogendoorn
Justin Hoogendoorn joined HilltopSecurities in 2021 as Head of Fixed Income Strategy and Analytics and is responsible for guiding the development of relative value investment strategies for institutional clients, including yield curve analysis, sector/security trends, and strategic outlooks. Hoogendoorn integrates sector and macro expectations with client objectives and constraints to create customized portfolio and issuer strategies. He has appeared on CNBC and Bloomberg, and is periodically quoted in Bloomberg, the Bond Buyer, Dow Jones Newswires, and Reuters. Prior to joining Hilltop, Hoogendoorn led strategy and analytics at Piper Sandler, having formed the Strategic Analytics Group in October 2003 for BMO GKST, and he previously served as a fixed income portfolio manager with Northern Trust from 1995 to 2003. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, with a concentration in Finance and a bachelor’s degree from Calvin University in Michigan.
